The Motor Company has been providing quality tools to the Oil & Gas industry for over a decade. TMC has a full-service facility in Midland, Texas. From its 12,000 sq. ft. shop, TMC provides rentals, sales and service to the Permian Basin. TMC also maintains facilities in Casper, WY and Calgary, Canada.

PRESET (SPUDDER) WELLS
Being the first to provide a "true" 8 1/2" Motor to the preset market, TMC has established itself as a leader in this sector. TMC motors have drilled in excess of 1,000 preset wells in the Permian. TMC has the knowledge and experience to provide the right motor for any given application.
Currently, TMC has motor drilling presets EVERY day in the Permian. TMC's combination of Power Section, Bottom End and NB Stabilizer has proven to be extremely effective in the conditions prevailing in West Texas.
DISPOSABLE MOTORS
TMC was among the first to offer Disposable Motors. The need for this application arose when explorers in the North Sea were looking for ways to run the final casing string while avoiding costly trips to clean the hole. Initially, used motors were provided, however customers demanded that no used components be run in the well. TMC offered a dummied-up version of a PDM motor that became immensely successful.
The Disposable Motor soon made its way into the onshore drilling market as longer and longer horizontals were drilled. Disposable Motors make running casing and liners much easier. TMC also offers the tools to run a motor on the end of a slotted liner.
